Who We Are

The Fortress is a thirty bed, men’s, faith-based, restoration abstinence based program, whose center of focus is Jesus Christ. It is not the “Program” that saves us from addiction, it is Jesus in us and Jesus in the “Program” that leads to Victory over addiction.

At The Fortress, we understand the importance of developing a true and realistic relationship with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is the only way we can be restored Spirit, Soul, and Body.

If you are struggling with addiction to gambling, sexual immorality, alcohol, or drugs, The Fortress is a safe place to find refuge from the storm.

In House Counseling

Each man that comes into the program has the opportunity of having daily, personal, one-on-one-counseling sessions. Here at The Fortress we try our best to steer away from having a “cookie cutter” one-size-fits-all approach to restoration from addiction.

Not everyone is the same, we all have a unique testimony that involves a broad spectrum of circumstances. With this in mind, we feel it is very important that we address each client’s issues individually. Currently our counseling is of the non-licensed type and is more of the mentorship variety.

Brent Waldemarsen is our in-house Pastor, who is available to the men on a daily basis.

He is a man of God who has seen a great need in our community and has answered the call.  The Fortress is very grateful to God for sending Pastor Brent to lead and guide the men in the program.

Connecting With Community

In addition to being required to find a home church, the men of The Fortress have the opportunity to attend our Wednesday worship services.

Every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm the men gather to worship God outside the walls of The Fortress. It is a time fellowship with the local community and it is open to the public.

In addition to fellowship, the men receive The Word of God from an in-house pastor, counselor, or guest speaker from the local area.
